Refractory castable based on alumina, FOSINCAST 90 presents special properties that allow a fast setting time thanks to its special bonding system without refractory cement. It also acts as a barrier against chemical attacks.
This potential was tested in a complete installation project of a double chamber reverberatory furnace in which it was used on the Upper walls. After 10 months, the reaction of the oxides, the high temperature and the overpressure contaminated the material under bath. In contrast, FOSINCAST 90 was a protection against the advance of corundum, of chemical attack.
