Improvement of coatings performance

The objective of this type of project is to obtain the best cost / performance ratio analyzing the operational parameters of the installation, the main mechanisms of failure of the coating, and the requirements and needs of the client.

The capacity of the different Insertec laboratories to develop “customized” products and of the different design, engineering and realization departments to implement and install them in a large number of formats (on site, prefabricated, etc.) guarantees being able to give a totally solution adjusted in cost, quality, and time (of delivery, installation and life) to each client and team.

Improvement of the energy efficiency of coatings

The objective of this type of project is to minimize the energy consumption associated with thermal losses through walls in the facilities and the deterioration and degradation of the coating over time.

Insertec has the appropriate resources to define the most appropriate combination of materials and technologies, which minimize the impact of both factors on the consumption of the installation.

Monitoring via thermal analysis and establishment of coatings maintenance plans

The objective of this service is to facilitate the decision making of the maintenance, production and purchasing departments when establishing the scope, planning and budgetary allocation associated with the repairs of the refractory linings of their facilities and equipment.

Insertec has various equipment, mechanisms and systems to perform the monitoring over time of the various critical thermal parameters of the installation and in this way provide the customer with reasoned decision making and supported by technical criteria.

Capacity increase via modification of the coatings

This type of project seeks to increase the possibilities in terms of capacity of kilns already in operation, avoiding the acquisition of a new installation or equipment to the client.

Through the detailed analysis of the critical parameters of the original installation and coating, the feasibility of modifying them is analyzed to obtain capacity increases that allow the client to maximize or adjust their production with the minimum investment necessary.

Drying and start-up of coatings

A correct drying and start-up of the coatings is critical to obtain the best properties and ensure the expected performance of the same.

Combining the information obtained from different tests and simulations, the technical departments of Insertec can define the most appropriate drying and commissioning cycle in terms of safety and efficiency to each repair (partial or total) of the coating.
