Dry silica mass based on high purity microcrystalline quartzite, mixed with a special sintering agent that provides it with higher refractoriness and higher resistance against erosion, penetration and molten metal wettability

Lining of high, low or medium frequency coreless induction furnaces melting spheroidal iron and alloyed iron at high casting temperature, alloyed steel castings and, generally, any cast which requires better performance qualities than CUARSIL IS4/IS6 type mixed with boron oxide or boric acid.
