In October 2021, we tested the INSESTRONG 45 SC in one of the largest Brazilian copper foundry. The test was conducted in a sector of a long launder. In February 2022, the customer reported no wear.

Copper quality through it: 99,9 % pure
Temperature: 1100ºC
These first results confirm the potential of INSESTRONG 45 SC for non-ferrous smelting.
The next step of the test is to use it in the complete launder to compare its performance with other refractory products traditionally used for this application.
