The aluminium reverberatory furnace is a multi-purpose equipment (melting, holding, alloying or casting) which, due to its size and discontinuous operation, requires meticulous maintenance.
Several areas of this type of equipment (walls, ramps, sill, door, etc.) can be affected by different types of risks such as erosion, energy loss, stability problems and, above all, the appearance of corundum.
Our refractory products for aluminium reverberatory furnaces help to resolve this multitude of factors. In addition, to provide a solution to corundum, Insertec has developed a range of phosphate-bonded refractory products that have demonstrated excellent resistance to aluminium penetration and corundum regrowth.
