Transport
Elements

The lining of aluminium transport ladles is confronted with three problems: temperature loss during transfer, risk of thermal shock and slag build-up.

To complete its range of refractory products, Insertec has developed MAPATCH 90, a solution specifically designed to limit the adhesion of casting remains.

MAPATCH 90

The MAPATCH 90, for the coating in transfer ladle, works as a slaughter material to which the slag and casting remains adhered, which could contaminate the following flows, keeping the base refractory substrate away from the action and attack of the slag that damage this coating having to repair the surface of the ladle.

Main advantages of this material:

  • Easy application.
  • Quick drying, does not require detailed control of the drying process.
  • Easy removal and cleaning of the material once its useful life is exhausted.
  • Ability to capture and retain slag as long as it stays warm.
