On May 13th Insertec was present at the last meeting of the H-ACERO project at the SARRALLE facilities in Azpeitia. It was the closing day of the project in which the results of all the tests carried out over the last 3 years were reviewed.
This project is led by SARRALLE – Industrial Engineering Leader and made up by ACERALAVA , ArcelorMittal, Calcinor, Ceit Centro Tecnológico, Insertec, Nervacero, Nippon Gases, Sidenor Aceros Especiales, TECNALIA Research & Innovation, Tubos Reunidos Group y SIDEREX – Cluster Association of the Steel Industry.
H-ACERO is a strategic project whose objective is to contribute to the decarbonisation of the steel industry, using hydrogen as an alternative energy source at various points in the steel production process.
This project is financed by the Basque Government, within the framework of the HAZITEK aid programme for the support of Industrial Research Projects and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The project will be closed and disseminated on 28 May at the SIDEREX facilities.
An important milestone for the steel industry in which Insertec has been proud to participate.
