The last 9th May, the follow-up meeting of the BAUXAL II project, in which we reviewed the milestones achieved. We also had the opportunity to inspect the behaviour of the material in the furnace as well as in the launders, verifying that the state of the material is optimal.
The Bauxal II project’s main objective is to transform a product of recycled origin, secondary aluminum oxide, into an alternative raw material to bauxites in its use as a refractory.
