Refractory blanket anchors, which are constantly exposed to severe operating conditions, can undergo progressive deterioration due to factors such as high-temperature oxidation, chemical corrosion caused by aggressive gases or particles, and repeated thermal cycles that lead to material fatigue.
This degradation can result in a loss of mechanical strength, deformation, or even structural failure, compromising the proper securing of the insulation and, consequently, the system’s thermal efficiency and safety.
To address this issue, the team at Insertec France has developed an installation process specifically tailored for lining doors, covers, and other components. The resulting improvement in performance fully compensates for an installation phase that is slightly longer than usual.
