We were at Aluminium 2024 (Dusseldorf, Germany), where we had the opportunity to present the latest milestones achieved in the Bauxal II project. It will be the last fair where the initiative will be present, since the project will end on 31/03/2025.
Focused on transforming a product of recycled origin, secondary aluminum oxide, into an alternative raw material to bauxites in its use as a refractory, Bauxal II was co-financed by the EU LIFE Program (LIFE17ENV/ES/00160).
The initiative, which kicked off on 01/07/2018, had an initial closing date of July 2022, but was extended to 31/03/2025 due to the pandemic.
