Insertec integrates BIND 4.0, the open innovation platform for smart industry in the Basque Country.
Created in 2016 by the Department of Industry, Energy Transition and Sustainability, through the SPRI Group, its objective is to connect disruptive startups with large companies, SMEs and public companies and accelerate digital transformation.
BIND facilitates the development of transformative industrial projects while providing unprecedented business support thanks to the region’s long-term strategic commitment to industry and innovation.
It involves around one hundred companies supported by some twenty clusters and public bodies.
Opening other doors to innovation
Our incorporation into BIND means opening another door to innovation. The program will allow us to meet talented profiles from around the world who, having worked in different industries, will bring us new perspectives.
In collaboration with our R&D department, which knows and understands the real needs of the companies in our sector, the startups will provide us with disruptive technologies to which we will be able to give a real application.
We will combine our experience and knowledge with their innovative ideas to create solutions that improve the processes and competitiveness of the plants: this mutually beneficial relationship is what makes the BIND program so different.
