During the first week of October, 2nd edition of the technical course ” Application of the complex systems engineering in the designing of refractory castables and precast 
shapes” took place in Madrid. This training course, supported by the Ibero-American Programme for Science, Technology and Development (CYTED), joined a qualified qroup of teachers from different countries including relevant researchers in refractories, like Prof. Victor Pandolfelli from UFSCar, Brazil. In this cast, RSI R&D Manager presented two lectures about precast shapes and refractories for aluminium industry.
