This potential was tested in a complete rebuilding project of a double-chamber reverberatory furnace in which it was used on the walls above the bath. After 10 months, the reaction of the oxides, the high temperature and the overpressure contaminated the traditional material used in the walls under the bath. FOSINCAST 90, on the other hand, acted as a barrier against corundum breakthrough, from chemical attack.
