A successful trial was carried out with Insetag 90 XF on the 1-ton furnace at one of the key customers in West India to evaluate its suitability for producing castings intended for rail transport applications.
The objective of the trial was to validate melting performance, metallurgical quality, and casting integrity under standard operating conditions.
The furnace performance and casting quality were found to be satisfactory during the trial. We suggested them few modifications in the process to achieve better performance and to increase the campaign life. Customer is happy with the service and soon expecting for more orders.
